Estonian Film Days at the Cinemateca Portuguesa 14-26 April

🎬 On 14 April at 18 the 1st Estonian Film Days will kick off with a screening of the film „SPRING” (“Kevade”, 1969) at the Cinemateca Portuguesa-Museu do Cinema.

“Kevade” is a semi-autobiographical story by Oskar Luts about friendship, love and life in a small Estonian country boarding school in the late 1800s. The schoolchildren of Paunvere church parish school – Arno, Teele, Toots, Kiir, TĂ”nisson and Imelik – experience feelings that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. A tale full of colourful events, vivid characters, elaborate jokes and subtle emotions, „Kevade“ is the biggest classic in Estonian cinema.
